When is the last time you felt truly alive?

We stand against the privatization of human life. We are trying to rebuild the relational infrastructure that creates collective flourishing, one small act of gathering at a time.

We need to rely on each other more, in non-economic ways. Call it connection, responsibility, mutual aid, love, care, just being a good neighborh — whatever it is, we all ache for it.

At Placeful we are trying to rebuild the social "underbrush": the messy, playful, unoptimized relationships through which people become alive to one another, attached to place, and capable of imagining a world different from what we've been given.

Connection is political power and joy.

Walking is so powerful and important.

Let's gather: for walking, for conversations, for reading, dancing, for connecting.

It's time to bring back adventure.
